Rare Breed(s):  Tukidale

Rene and Vee Pols manage the only Tukidale stud in Australia. They maintain a flock of around 100 breeding ewes and a handful of rams in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia.  They have been breeding Tukidales since 1980.

Rene and Vee are active members of the Tukidale Association of Australia, ensuring there is an annual general meeting with the 30 members still associated with the group.

The fleece typically have been sold to a wool broker who manages bales for many sheep farmers in the region.  Though the stud hasn't in the past sold it's fleece to fibre enthusiasts, they would like to make this direct connection.  They are interested in getting emails or phone calls from people interested in their wool and sheep.  They would enjoy visitors to the property if arrangements are made in advance.
